Special Interest Groups

The qualitative research SIG was the first special interest group that was established.  It's goal is to bring together qualitative researchers to develop the knowledge base on CAM, and contribute to the development of appropriate methodologies.

In November 2008, the ‘European Chapter’ was established as a ‘Special Interest Group’ within ISCMR. It constitutes a platform for researchers involved in complementary medicine, and promotes exchange and cooperation within Europe.

The SIG ‘Research Methodology Training’ was founded in May 2010 and has the overall aim to provide a platform for those ISCMR members who already provide or plan to develop research methodology courses.
