Over the last years publications and quality in CAM research have increased. For the future of CAM research it is important to train more young scientists and practitioners in research methodology. In Germany a summer school on methods for CAM Research is already offered. It focuses on topics such as study design (RCT, observational study, economic studies), statistics, critical appraisal and meta-analysis. 

At the last ISCMR meeting in Munich it was decided to take forward the idea of possibly harmonizing the different initiatives within the auspices of ISCMR. ISCMR could be an appropriate platform for coordination of international research training.

As a first step we would like to collect information on the currently ongoing postgraduate research training programs such as summer schools, Master's programs or doctoral programs for CAM research.

We would also like to invite those of you who are already involved to participate in the discussion of who to proceed in the harmonization and coordination process.
