Euro Congress on Traditional Chinese Medicine - Call for Papers

Mary O'Meara of the Research Council for Complementary Medicine (London) has brought to our attention a Euro Congress on Traditional Chinese Medicine to be held November 10 to 13, 2005 at the Berlin Hilton, sponsored by MCO.

Latin American Herbal Medicine Program at UCLA

Pan American Association of Traditional and Alternative Medicine/ Asociacion Panamericana de Medicinas Tradicionales y Alternativas

Robb Scholten at Harvard Medical School (Boston, USA) recently met with the representative of the Asociacion Panamericana de Medicinas Tradicionales y Alternativas based in Bogata, Columbia. Dr. Yohanny Andrade, President, is currently helping to move legislation through the Columbian Health Ministry that will create new licensure and training programs for traditional healers (i.e., non-MD healthcare therapists).
