NEWSFLASH
Newsflash from CAMRN:
Dear CAMRN member
We'd like to inform you of a few new developments within CAMRN.
Recently we welcomed our 400th member to the network. We now have
members in all corners of the globe and we hope to continue to
develop the network in the coming year to support and encourage
researchers in CAM and conventional medicine and promote
collaboration.
We do have a forum where researcher's can discuss any CAM
research related issues which unfortunately seems under utilised at
the moment. Remember that the forum is there for all members to pose
questions and inform others of their projects.
We are pleased to have recently obtained sponsorship from
Elsevier Science to help support the running of the CAMRN
network. As a result of this CAMRN members can now obtain a 20%
discount on the subscription to the journals listed below.
- Complementary Therapies in Clinical
Practice‚
- Complementary Therapies in Medicine,
- International Journal of Aromatherapy‚
- Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapies
In order to subscribe please log on to the network using your email
address and your password. (If anyone needs a reminder of their
password please email me and I will be happy to re-send it to you.)
Once you are logged on click on the red CAMRN button and select
"journal discounts" from the list. Here you will find all the
information you need to apply for your discounted journal titles.
We would also like to take this opportunity to remind you that we
have a wide selection books on Complementary & Alternative Medicine
(CAM) published by Elsevier, including several new titles
which are available for CAMRN members to review. Again in order to
view these titles and request a book for review click on the red
CAMRN button once you have logged on and click on "Book Reviews".
>From the list that appears click on any titles of interest for
more
information.
Please get in touch if you have any questions about any of the
above.
Thank you for your continued interest in CAMRN and hope that you
are finding your membership useful and helpful.
Kind Regards
Mary O’Meara
