3) Prince's Foundation for Integrated Health seek individuals for working groups (Shiatsu and Alexander Technique)

The Prince's Foundation for Integrated Health is working with complementary healthcare professions on the development of improved systems of voluntary self-regulation. The Foundation acts as a forum to promote and support discussion and as a centre for driving forward the integrated healthcare agenda. On-going work includes support to a number of groups working towards voluntary self-regulation for their different professions.

The Foundation is seeking expressions of interest from people interested in lay involvement in this work to recommend to the groups. They are particularly seeking people to serve on the Alexander Technique and Shiatsu working groups.

Purpose of involvement: To bring a lay/consumer perspective to the work of independent groups working towards voluntary self-regulation, ensuring that the patient and public perspective is represented in decision-making processes.

Involvement required: To attend meetings of the Council/Forum of the working group, between four and six times each year, and be able to allow some time between meetings for reading, email discussions, etc.
