Research Strategies conference

3) Prince's Foundation for
Integrated Health seek individuals for working groups
(Shiatsu and Alexander Technique)
The Prince's Foundation for Integrated Health is working
with complementary healthcare professions on the development
of improved systems of voluntary self-regulation. The
Foundation acts as a forum to promote and support discussion
and as a centre for driving forward the integrated
healthcare agenda. On-going work includes support to a
number of groups working towards voluntary self-regulation
for their different professions.
The Foundation
is seeking expressions of interest from people interested in
lay involvement in this work to recommend to the groups.
They are particularly seeking people to serve on the
Alexander Technique and Shiatsu working groups.
Purpose of
involvement: To bring a lay/consumer perspective to the work
of independent groups working towards voluntary
self-regulation, ensuring that the patient and public
perspective is represented in decision-making processes.
Involvement
required: To attend meetings of the Council/Forum of the
working group, between four and six times each year, and be
able to allow some time between meetings for reading, email
discussions, etc.

Nutrition & Health Conference: State of the Science and
Clinical Applications, May 14-16 2007, California, US

present the latest research on the science of nutrition and will

This 4th international conference will bring together mainstream
health care providers as well as holistic health practitioners

ways to collaborate and work together in order to provide the

Submission of abstracts -
Abstracts should be maximum 300 words with a title, full names
of all authors, their degrees, affiliations, objectives of
presentation/study, methods, results and conclusions. Presenting
author should be underlined and a corresponding author indicated
with full information (name, degree, title, function, full
address, tel, fax, email and website). The final date
to receive abstracts is November 01, 2007, but you can send even
earlier as Richtext file attachment by e-mail to professor Joav
