ISCMR Workshop: Qualitative Research in Complementary and Alternative
Medicine
Monday, September 19th, 2005, 1-5pm
In conjunction with the 12th Annual Symposium for Complementary Health Care
at Streatham Court, University of Exeter.
The qualitative research special interest group of ISCMR is proposing to present
a half-day workshop on qualitative research in Complementary and Alternative
Medicine (CAM). We hope
people with
varying levels of experience in qualitative research who want to explore the
strengths, limitations and applications of qualitative research in CAM
will attend this workshop.
Please note that this is this is not intended as an
introductory “how to” workshop.
The aims of the workshop are to:

Introduce
qualitative research methods in the context
of CAM and Whole Systems Research
·
Explore the role of qualitative
research in CAM – strengths, applications and
limitations
·
Provide an opportunity to discuss
issues about qualitative research in CAM.

ISCMR Annual General Meeting
Monday, September 19th, 2005,
5-6pm
All ISCMR members are invited to
attend the Annual General Meeting which will be taking place directly
after the Qualitative Research Workshop, September 19th, 200 from 5 - 6pm.
Members who cannot attend, but would like to suggest topics to be discussed
at the AGM, please let us know so it can be put on the Agenda. Please send all
AGM agenda items to info@iscmr.org .
