CAM Courses at Southern Cross University (Australia)

The School of Natural and Complementary Medicine at Southern Cross University is dedicated to excellence in education and research in natural and complementary medicine.

Established in 1997, the School offers a number of undergraduate and postgraduate courses including the Bachelor of Naturopathy, widely recognized as Australia's premier naturopathic degree course.

The School offers the following undergraduate courses:

* Bachelor of Naturopathy

- full undergraduate program

* Bachelor of Naturopathy with Honours

- stand alone Honours degree for Bachelor of Naturopathy graduates

* Bachelor of Natural Therapies

- degree upgrade program for qualified natural therapists

The School offers the following postgraduate courses:

* Graduate Certificate in Evidence-based Complementary Medicine

* Master of Science by research

* Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

Much of the School's research is conducted through the The Australian Centre for Complementary Medicine Education and Research (ACCMER), a joint venture between Southern Cross University and the University of Queensland.

Southern Cross University is Australia's centre for natural and complementary medicine education and research. The School of Natural and Complementary Medicine, ACCMER, The Centre for Phytochemistry and Pharmacology, and the Cellulose Valley Institute provide dynamic and wide-ranging expertise in undergraduate and postgraduate training, research, industry know-how and consultancy
