The School of Natural and Complementary Medicine
at Southern Cross University is dedicated to excellence in education
and research in natural and complementary medicine.
Established in 1997, the School offers a number
of undergraduate and postgraduate courses including the Bachelor of
Naturopathy, widely recognized as Australia's premier naturopathic
degree course.
The School offers the following undergraduate
courses:
* Bachelor of Naturopathy
- full undergraduate program
* Bachelor of Naturopathy with Honours
- stand alone Honours degree for Bachelor of
Naturopathy graduates
* Bachelor of Natural Therapies
- degree upgrade program for qualified natural
therapists
The School offers the following postgraduate

* Graduate Certificate in Evidence-based
Complementary Medicine
* Master of Science by research
* Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
Much of the School's research is conducted
through the The Australian Centre for Complementary Medicine Education
and Research (ACCMER), a joint venture between Southern Cross
University and the University of Queensland.
