Important Date Change

The FREE ISCMR Workshop: Qualitative Research in Complementary and Alternative Medicine will be offered on Monday September 19th, 2005 Exeter, UK, and NOT on Sunday September 18th
.  

The Qualitative Research Special Interest Group, led by Elaine Weatherley-Jones, will offer a half-day workshop on Qualitative Research in Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM). This workshop will build on previous workshops that have focused on Whole Systems Research
.

CAM/Oncology Fellowship Opportunity

NCCAM, the National Cancer Institute, and the FDA's Center for Drug Evaluation and Research have created a unique 3-year fellowship for new researchers to gain expertise in complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) and cancer.

 Funding Opportunities

 International Research Collaboration--Basic Biomedical Research Award

The purpose of this program is to provide limited-size grants to foster international research partnerships between NIH-supported U.S. scientists and their collaborators in eligible countries of the developing world that benefit research and also increase research capacity at the foreign site. NCCAM's funding will support research on the science underlying highly promising traditional medical health practices.
